hi all... ok this will be happening the next 2 weeks. next week(19th jan), we'll have the band workshop by our very own resident pianist Aunty Ting Ting!! be there at 1pm! There'll be lunch provided. If you dont want lunch, come at 2 sharp. The youth activity on the 19th is the screening of AMAZING GRACE! Here's a trailer:
Before the movie, we'll have a worship session led by Ruiyang. After the movie, Aunty Rina'll probably lead a short discussion(about the movie of course).
On the 26th we're planning to have a BBQ for the youths. Venue and time is yet to be confirmed but it'll either be at east coast or some other park, or at someone's condo! I think we should be able to invite our friends...? But the numbers will have to be confirmed early so that we can prepare logistics (i.e. food).

Together, Dick and Rick Hoyt have run in marathons, competed in triathlons and once even trekked 3,700 miles across America. What they have accomplished together is simply amazing when you consider that Rick cannot walk or talk. Rick was born disabled because his umbilical tube was around his neck. When his father hooked him to a speacial computer n thaught him to express his thoughts through a special computer. When rick was 15, he communicated to his dad that he wanted to participate in a 5-mile benifit run. his dad was not a runner but still ran for him because everytime Rick was in the race, he would feel like he had no disabilities. Rick was the heart n Dick was the body.
